Global rollout · Meta One · availability & eligibility

The subscription is global. What it buys isn’t.

Meta One went out worldwide at launch, so “can I subscribe?” is usually yes. The question that actually matters is different: is the feature you are paying for switched on where you are? Those are separate rollouts, and Muse landing in the US alone while Meta One was already global is the proof.

Four layers

“Is it available to me?” is four questions

They are independent, and each can be a no on its own. Treating them as one question is how people end up subscribed to something they cannot use.

Is Meta One sold where you are?

The subscription itself, as a thing you can buy.

Usually yes

This is the easy layer. Meta One rolled out globally on 16 September 2026 and gathered more than 15 million subscriptions and trial sign-ups in its first days, which is not the profile of a narrow launch. If you have a working Meta account and a payment method, you can probably subscribe.

How to checkOpen the subscription section while signed in. If tiers and prices appear for your region, layer one is clear. The subscribe route.
If it is a noNothing to work around the tiers simply will not be offered. Meta One is also not the only route to the AI features; the free tier is unaffected.

Is your account type eligible?

Which Meta account holds the subscription, and what kind it is.

Depends on tier

Consumer tiers standalone, Core and Premium attach to a personal Meta account. Creator and business tiers are a different product aimed at professional accounts, and they carry their own requirements because they sell things like verification and team access rather than allowance.

How to checkSee which tiers are offered on the account you are signed into. A tier you cannot see is usually a tier your account type is not eligible for. What else counts.
If it is a noThe fix is normally the account rather than the country the wrong profile, or a professional tier on a personal account. Working out which account you are on.

Is Meta AI itself enabled for your country?

The assistant, separately from the subscription that meters it.

Broad, varies

Meta AI has a wide rollout, but country and language coverage are not uniform and are tracked separately from Meta One. A global subscription does not imply the assistant is switched on at the same level in every market which is why this site keeps a separate availability page for Meta AI.

How to checkUse the free tier first. Meta AI works without paying, so you can confirm the assistant is live for you before any money is involved.
If it is a noA subscription will not turn it on. Paying meters a feature that exists; it does not deploy one that has not reached you.

Is the specific feature live where you are?

The layer that costs people money.

Check this first

Individual features roll out on their own schedules, entirely independently of the subscription. The clearest illustration is on the record: Muse arrived on the Mac on 17 September 2026 in the United States only, the day after Meta One went global. Anyone outside the US who subscribed that week expecting to use Muse had a valid subscription and no Muse.

How to checkGo to the page for the thing you actually want: Muse availability, Muse Video availability, or Meta AI availability.
If it is a noDo not subscribe yet. This is the only layer where paying first is an active mistake rather than merely premature.

Why there is no country list on this page: Meta has not published a country-by-country breakdown for Meta One, and the rollouts behind all four layers move independently. A list assembled from guesswork or copied from another site would read as authoritative while being wrong somewhere and wrong in the direction that costs a reader money. So this page gives you a procedure for checking your own case instead, which stays correct as the map changes.

The right order

Check them backwards

The intuitive order can I buy it, then what does it do is exactly wrong. Reverse it and you never pay before knowing.

  1. Start with the feature, not the subscription

Name the thing you actually want more of. Video generation, Muse, image work, the creator tools then check that one’s availability page. If it is not live where you are, you are finished: nothing else on this page matters yet.

  2. Then confirm Meta AI is working for you, unpaid

Install the Mac app or open the web version and use it for free. This clears layer three at zero cost, and doubles as the check on whether you needed to pay at all most people do not.

  3. Then look at which tiers your account is offered

Signed into the account you actually work in, see what appears. This settles layers one and two together, because a tier you can see for your region on your account type is a tier you can buy.

  4. Only then open the payment page

By this point the answer to “will this do anything for me?” is already known, which is the entire point of the reversal. The seven steps take it from here.

The failure this avoids

A subscription that is valid, charged, and useless. It is not a bug and support will not treat it as one, because everything worked exactly as described you bought a higher allowance for a feature that has not reached your country. The subscription is real; the thing you wanted it for is not there.

Checking backwards costs five minutes. Finding out afterwards costs a month, and possibly a year if you took the annual price.

Account eligibility

What about your account actually matters

Six things that commonly govern a subscription of this kind. The shape is general; the specifics for any given tier and region are set in Meta’s terms, and this page does not invent them.

Personal or professional

Consumer tiers sit on a personal account; creator and business tiers target professional ones and sell different things. Being offered one and not the other is normal.

The region on the account

Not the country you are sitting in. Pricing and tier availability generally follow the account and the payment method rather than the device’s current location.

The payment method’s country

A card issued in one country and an account registered in another is the classic mismatch, and it usually surfaces as a tier that will not complete rather than an explanation.

Account age and standing

New accounts and accounts with restrictions are commonly treated differently from established ones. Meta sets the thresholds; we are not going to guess a number.

Verification, for the paid-identity tiers

Anything selling a verified badge or impersonation protection involves an identity check by nature. That is a property of those tiers, not of Meta One generally.

Minimum age

Paid subscriptions carry age requirements that differ by jurisdiction. The number is in Meta’s terms for your region and is the kind of thing a third-party guide should never state from memory.

Deliberately no thresholds, no ages and no country-specific rules above. Each of those is a fact Meta publishes and revises, and a guide that hard-codes them is wrong the first time they change see Meta’s own terms for the values that apply to you.

What “varies by region” means

Five things that differ, and two that don’t

Meta’s own framing is that prices vary by region, app and account type. That phrase covers more than money, and it is worth knowing which parts move.

Availability is not binary per country. It is a set of switches, and different markets get different combinations of them.

The two that do not vary are the ones that matter most for a Mac. Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later are hard requirements everywhere an Intel Mac is no more supported in one country than another. And the absence of a Windows build is global, not regional.

The two that vary most quietly are language and feature set. A market can have Meta AI without having every generative feature, and can have the app in English before it has it in the local language. Neither shows up as an error message things simply are not there, which is easy to mistake for something being broken.

The account's region governing what is offered, rather than the device's current location WHAT GOVERNS account region which tiers you are offered the price and the currency which apps are in the bundle which AI features are switched on WHAT GENERALLY DOESN’T where you are today travelling does not re-price a subscription Changing an account’s region is its own process with its own rules not something a trip abroad does for you, in either direction. The account travels; the region doesn’t

The right-hand column is a status, not a schedule. “Varies” means the answer is per-market and worth checking for yours; it does not mean this page knows which markets. For Meta AI’s own country and language position see the Meta AI availability page, and for the products with their own narrower rollouts, Muse and Muse Video.

FAQ

Availability questions

Is Meta One available in my country?

Probably. Meta One rolled out globally on 16 September 2026, so the subscription itself is broadly available. What varies by country is the price, which apps are in the bundle and which AI features are switched on so being able to subscribe is not the same as being able to use the thing you are subscribing for. The four layers.

Why does this page not list the countries?

Because Meta has not published a country-by-country list and the rollout moves. A list invented or copied from elsewhere would read as authoritative while being wrong somewhere, so this page gives you a way to check your own case instead.

Can I subscribe but still not use what I paid for?

Yes, and this is the trap. Subscription availability and feature availability are separate rollouts. Muse launched on the Mac in the United States only while Meta One was already global, so a subscription bought elsewhere for Muse would not have unlocked it Muse availability.

Which account types can subscribe?

Consumer tiers attach to a personal Meta account; creator and business tiers target professional accounts and carry their own requirements. Exact eligibility including account standing, age and verification is set in Meta’s terms and varies by tier and region. What generally matters.

Does my account region or my current location matter?

Generally the account is what governs. Subscription pricing, tier availability and which features are enabled usually follow the region attached to your account and payment method rather than where the device happens to be.

What happens to my subscription if I move country?

Moving does not automatically re-price or re-scope a subscription. Changing the region on a Meta account and a payment method is its own process with its own rules, and it is worth checking Meta’s terms before relying on a tier continuing unchanged.

Is Meta AI itself available everywhere Meta One is?

Not necessarily. Meta AI has a broad rollout with country and language variation, and the Mac app has its own requirements on top. A global subscription does not imply the assistant is enabled in every market at the same level Meta AI availability.

Is the Mac app limited by country?

The hard limits on the Mac app are Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later rather than geography, but which Meta AI features are switched on inside it does vary by country, and there is still no Windows build system requirements.

Do prices change by country?

Yes. The published rates are US monthly figures and Meta states that prices vary by region, app and account type, so treat the confirmation screen rather than any published figure as the price you will pay the published rates.

How do I check my own eligibility properly?

Check in reverse order: first whether the feature you want is live where you are, then whether Meta AI is enabled for your country, then your account type, and only then open the subscription page. Checking in that order means you never pay before knowing the four checks.

Global subscription · per-market features

Check the feature first, the subscription last.

Meta One being sold where you are tells you almost nothing about whether the thing you want it for has arrived. Five minutes in the right order saves a month of paying for the wrong answer.
